.) Find ways to make jobs easier. As the popular saying goes, “Work Smarter, not Harder.” And it really is the truth in most cases, including this one! Find methods and shortcuts in your work, such as setting up a computer program to automatically send out invoices and order forms, and the like. Think up innovative ways to make your job less of a hassle and you’ll have more time to sit back and relax all while earning twice as much.
.) Get focused. A problem that affects the productivity of work is the inability to properly focus. When working on your side job, be sure your attention is direct to it and only it. It saves time and effort because you’ll actually be doing something beneficial instead of procrastinating away a day that could have been put to good use.
.) Multitask. It doesn’t hurt to multitask when it comes to side hustles. You can combine multiple tasks into one, such as talking to clients on the phone all while editing your webpage and social media sites. Learn how to do several things at once (of course, without burning yourself out) and you’ll see just how efficient you are, and truly can be.
.) Strict scheduling. Another thing that lessens the output of work is the lack of a good schedule. If you don’t have a schedule, it often leads to putting off work and procrastinating which is terrible for your side hustle. Set apart a certain time of your day just for work and be very strict with it! Take away all of the distractions and make sure your brain is set on what’s important.
.) Outsource. As much as you’d like to do everything yourself, it can be difficult and nearly impossible, especially once your side hustle starts to grow into something more popular and profitable. In order to keep up with the demand, why not try and outsource? Instead of doing menial tasks yourself, have other individuals do them for you! You can hire social media managers secretaries and/or bookkeepers to handle simple tasks for you so that you can spend more time innovating and creating more opportunities for yourself and your side hustle.
